Bio
Loredana Padurean is an Associate Teaching Professor at Northeastern University’s D'Amore-McKim School of Business and a Executive Education Lecturer at MIT Sloan, where she turns rigorous research into actionable frameworks. Her dynamic teaching recently earned her the Best Teaching Professor at DMSB in 2026 and Teaching Innovation & Excellence Award in 2023.
With over 500 global speaking engagements under her belt, Loredana’s style is described as "electrifying" and "unapologetically unconventional". In September 2026, she will take the stage at Brand Minds in Bucharest—sharing the spotlight with global icons like Oprah Winfrey and Seth Godin
Before landing at the front of a classroom, Loredana had dozens of different professions across three continents. Her "field research" began in Romania and moved through Switzerland, Italy, India, Malaysia, and the USA, covering industries ranging from life insurance and construction to media and fashion. She has been the entrepreneur who failed at accounting, the TV host of Fashion Police who "arrested" people for bad taste, and the PhD student who took over a bankrupt Swiss ski resort to turn it into a case study for success.
